Benfica are now closing in on Samuel Dahl.

The Swedish fullback has asked to leave Roma after failing to break through Claudio Ranieri’s ranks.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Benfica are now frontrunners in the race for Samuel Dahl.

The Portuguese club are ready to sign him on loan until the end of the season with a buy option included in the temporary deal.
