West Ham today take on Brentford in arguably Graham Potters first game in which a win is needed in east London.

As the trip to Arsenal nears next week, all connected with the club will be hoping for a convincing performance and result to lift the belief further that a strong finish to a difficult season is in store for the cockney boys.

Brentford also haven’t been in the best of form of late, so it’s hoped Graham Potters side can take full advantage, and showcase a side that have had a long spell on the training ground to prepare for this fixture.

Potters Hammers are boosted by the return of Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez today, while Jean-Clair Todibo is also in contention to make his first appearance under Graham Potter, having recovered from injury.

Evan Ferguson is expected to make his debut for the club, although he could well have to come on from the bench, as to for James Ward-Prowse, who has returned from his loan at Nottingham Forest.

Aaron Hickey, Igor Thiago, Gustavo Nunes, Rico Henry and Josh Dasilva are all missing for the visitors today, however Mark Flekken is available for Thomas Frank.
