Manchester United have received a major boost as Ayden Heaven has been spotted in Carrington without a protective boot.
The 18-year-old made his full Premier League debut on Sunday against Leicester City after impressing in his earlier outings against Real Sociedad and his former club Arsenal. The teenager was once again superb at the back, pulling off a brilliant intervention to deny Patson Daka just minutes before Rasmus Hojlund’s opener.
But sadly for the young defender, his evening ended early with what seemed to be a serious knee injury, leaving the Red Army fearing the worst. Heaven couldn’t even walk on his own, so he was aided out of the pitch by members of the medical staff.
However, later reports on the evening revealed that the player was walking unassisted, albeit wearing a protective boot. On Tuesday, Heaven broke his silence while promising his supporters to return to the pitch rather swiftly.
Well, it appears this wasn’t an empty vow, as his condition is apparently not as serious as initially feared.

According to The Athletic journalist Laurie Whitwell, the youngster has been seen at Carrington without a protective boot, as he could make his return to action shortly after the international break.
“Ayden Heaven has been at Carrington without a protective boot. You just surmise from that, it’s not going to be too long after the international break that he returns hopefully,” he told Talk of the Devil.
This is certainly delightful news for the Red Devils, as it concerns one of their brightest prospects. Despite only making a handful of appearances with the first team, many believe Heaven has already warranted a starting role at Ruben Amorim’s court.
The teenager has been showing composure and confidence well beyond his age, and is deemed a perfect fit for the manager’s 3-4-2-1 formation.
