Incoming Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti is eager to reunite with a former Real Madrid star upon taking up the Seleção reins this summer.
That’s according to CNN Brasil, who point towards Kaká as the player in question.
Tactician Ancelotti will of course kick his first-ever adventure as a national team manager into gear later this month.
Ahead of being replaced by Xabi Alonso on the bench at Real Madrid, the Italian made the call to open talks with the Brazilian Football Federation, culminating in an agreement through next year’s World Cup and beyond.
Ancelotti has already kickstarted efforts towards moulding his Seleção staff, much of which is already understood to be in place.
As alluded to above, though, one addition to his team on whom the iconic coach is still working is that of Kaká.
Ancelotti knows Ballon d’Or winner Kaká well, from their shared time in Serie A with AC Milan.
And Brazil’s new boss, it is claimed, it now keen to make use of the one-time Real Madrid star’s talents behind the scenes, in an assistant manager’s role.
