Corriere dello Sport insists that Napoli coach Antonio Conte is an obvious choice for struggling Milan and Juventus, but the Italian’s future at the Stadio Maradona has yet to be determined.

Il Corriere dello Sport notes that Napoli are ‘threatened’ by Milan and Juventus’ interest in their coach, Conte, but it is evident that the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri look to the Italian tactician for next season.

Conte is known for his ability to put struggling clubs on the right track quickly, so he’s naturally been linked with the Old Lady and the Diavoli, who have failed to compete for the Serie A title in the current campaign.

Furthermore, Milan are practically sure to miss out on a Champions League spot, while Juventus are currently one point behind the fourth place, occupied by Bologna.

Corriere dello Sport described Conte as a “luminary of teams on the brink of collapse” and a “man who takes care of every detail and dedicates every minute of his day to getting close to perfection and success.”

Journalist Massimiliano Gallo continued: “Conte is a builder of victories, and being surprised that everyone wants him is a pointless exercise. Whether he is likeable or not, it is completely irrelevant.”

Conte is under contract with Napoli until June 2027, but has recently complained about how the club is being managed and hinted at a lack of ambition, fueling speculation of a possible summer exit.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis has already replied to his coach, and the duo is expected to sit down at the end of the season to discuss the future.
