This season, FC Barcelona have emerged as one of the most entertaining attacking sides in Spain and Europe. With the trident of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Lamine Yamal wreaking havoc against most teams they face, the Catalans are on course to break some of their own historic scoring records.

With all of these players playing at a very high level, the attack is one area of the team where Hansi Flick does not have to make a lot of changes. In fact, with the way this trio is performing, the other attacking players on the Blaugrana bench do not have any reasonable chance of getting a place in the German tactician’s starting lineup.

This is also the case for the winger Ferran Torres, who has impressed in some of the outings he has gotten this season, shining most brightly against his former side Valencia only a few weeks ago. Since arriving at Barcelona in 2002, he has seen his importance in the team rise and decline, but this season, he has played 1000 minutes in 26 appearances.

However, his demand in the market still remains high, as Fichajes reports that the Premier League side Chelsea is looking to present an offer of around €30 million for the winger, with the Blues looking to reinforce their attack for the next season.

The London club is looking to revamp their attack after parting ways with some inconsistent forwards, like Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku. To replace these departing players, the Barcelona winger can be a good option for Chelsea.

The report goes on to claim that the Blaugranes will be willing to accept this €30 million offer for Torres. However, the former Manchester City forward is one of the more relied-upon substitute options for Flick when he wants to rest one of his fixed starters in the attacking line, i.e., Robert Lewandowski or Lamine Yamal.

Thus, it remains to be seen whether this offer comes from Chelsea, and whether Barcelona will be open to parting ways with such an effective player from the bench.
