Chelsea will apparently bring in an attacker who has 83 career goals so far to help them out in time for the Club World Cup this summer.
Chelsea will surely be looking at this competition as a chance to gain some big profits in prize money, having struggled in the league this season. A Champions League place is hanging on by a thread at the moment, but a good win against Southampton in their last match will certainly help momentum going forward.
The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.
The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.
Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!
Meanwhile, Joao Felix could come back at play for Chelsea at the Club World Cup!

According to The Daily Mail, Felix’s short-term loan deal with Italian giants AC Milan runs until 30 June.
The report adds that there’s an interesting clause in the 25-year-old’s deal that allows Chelsea to bring back the player in time to be involved in the Club World Cup.
The Club World Cup tournament begins on 14 June, and Felix could well be added to Chelsea’s squad. It would be very odd if they do this though, with Felix clearly not in the club’s long-term plans. But maybe he can help with some depth.
