Chelsea are reportedly now ones to watch in terms of signing a 21-year-old striker who has 83 career goals across all competitions so far.

We know that The Blues are looking at new strikers, but we hear this every single transfer window and they just don’t ever seem to action it. Will they finally action it in the final week of the January transfer window? Well, they have a lot of work and negotiating to do if they really want to get a new striker in the door, otherwise they will pass yet another transfer window without signing a pure out and out number 9 to provide competition to Nicolas Jackson up top.

Sources: Liam Delap, Jhon Duran, Darwin Nunze, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Dusan Vlahovic – Transfer updates on new strikers!

Liam Delap of Ipswich Town continues to be linked, and Chelsea are apparently now in pole position to sign him. However, that is expected in the summer. So will the club wait or will they find another striker to come in this window as well?

Benjamin Sesko is another striker who has recent previous links to Chelsea, with the interest from The Blues clearly being there for the young striker who is having a good season and good career really as well.

And there are now some new links to the RB Leipzig forward.

Journalist Ben Jacobs was delivering his latest transfer updates via a space on X last night, and the focus was on Chelsea’s plans.

He name dropped Sesko in some updates on strikers that Chelsea are looking at, although he didn’t say too much on him.

He simply said:

“Benjamin Sesko is also one to watch [for Chelsea].”

Other clubs have been heavily linked to wanting Sesko as well this month, and he could be attainable. But will Chelsea go for him? I very much doubt that.
