Chelsea’s damning record at Stamford Bridge under the new ownership has come to light, and it’s really not a great look at all for them.

Things are going from bad to much worse right now for Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea side after yet another defeat came at the weekend.

The Blues lost 2-1 against Aston Villa on Saturday evening after being 1-0 up inside the first 20 minutes. I think Chelsea fans would have just expected even at that point, that their side were still going to lose this game, and they did.

Chelsea could not score and were really terrible. Even Cole Palmer was terrible, and he was seen trying to blame others for a bad pass that HE himself made. This just about sums everything up right now.

They have another chance to win at The Bridge tomorrow night when Southampton roll in to town, but confidence is super low.

Records are damning at home

As reported by The Athletic today, since the Todd Boehly-Clearlake consortium took over in 2022, Chelsea have won just 23 out of their 50 league matches at Stamford Bridge and lost on 12 occasions.

That truly is some mind blowing stuff under this new ownership, who are now under immense pressure from the Chelsea fans who have had enough and will be protesting ahead of the Saints game on Tuesday night.

Chelsea can of course temporarily put some fires out with a convincing win tomorrow night, but there wont be many fans who will be confident of that happening right now.
