Lazio have reportedly scheduled a meeting with Pedro and his agents as they aim to lock the veteran down with a new contract.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are keen to maintain the services of the 2010 World Cup winner whose contract will expire at the end of the season. The Roman newspaper reveals that the two parties will hold a meeting in the coming days.

The Biancocelesti are expecting to offer the veteran a renewal until June 2026, which could include an option for another year. As for the salary, Pedro currently earns €2.2 million per year, so it remains to be seen if the management will try to slightly reduce it, especially with the club likely to miss out on the Champions League and its lucrative prize money.
