Club Will Contact Arsenal Over Seven PL Appearances Star ‘In The Near Future’ | OneFootball

Turkish giants Galatasaray are set to contact Arsenal ‘in the near future’ as they are interested in a Gunners star that has made just seven appearances in the Premier League this season.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are now out of the EFL Cup and FA Cup, leaving the focus fully on pushing for the Premier League and the Champions League.

They are six points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool though and are trying to do some transfer business this month.

Arsenal are keen on offloading some out-of-favour players and Kieran Tierney has been linked with a move away to Celtic.

Now another Arsenal left-back is attracting interest, according to Turkish broadcaster A Spor, Galatasaray are expected to contact the Gunners for Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Ukraine international has been an off-the-bench substitute behind the likes of Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly this season.

He has played a little over 200 minutes of Premier League football, spanning seven appearances, and Galatasaray are to get in touch with Arsenal ‘in the near future’ about a deal.

Zinchenko’s contract at the Emirates is valid until the summer of 2026 and it remains to be seen if Arsenal outline a deal to Galatasaray which the Turkish club find acceptable.
