Since leaving AC Milan, Milos Kerkez has been on a constant upward trajectory. Given how sought-after he is, the club might just feel a bit of regret.
As Calciomercato.com write, Bournemouth are continuing to do great things under head coach Andoni Iraola. On Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge, only a 95th-minute free kick by Reece James prevented them from beating Chelsea, with 2-2 the final score.
The team largely put together by director Tiago Pinto remains just outside the European zone, one point behind the champions Manchester City, who are admittedly struggling this season under Pep Guardiola.
The Cherries have the fifth-best defence in the league and among the usual starters are Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, sold by Milan and Juventus for €2.7m and €15.2m respectively. Now, they are worth a lot more.
The Rossoneri had and still have one of the best left backs in the world in their team in Theo Hernandez, but the management surely cannot avoid thinking about how they had Kerkez in their grasp. He is the best U21 left-back for assists, crosses, key passes and tackles.
