AC Milan are looking at adding some attacking reinforcements in the January mercato, and Giovanni Reyna has emerged as a potential signing for the Rossoneri.

With Conceicao still deciding his preferred system with Milan, there is scope for signings that can be used across a range of positions, and Gio Reyna is a fantastic example. Although he is most useful behind the striker, he can also play on the wings, which is very needed in this squad.

So, the reported interest makes complete sense. According to Calciomercato.com, Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani headed to Dusseldorf on Wednesday (Jan 15) aiming to graft for Reyna.

The midfielder is ‘an ideal profile’ for Conceicao’s Rossoneri, and since November he has started to show his former self after struggling with injuries for a period.

In addition to this, the midfielder would ‘strengthen’ the Diavolo’s brand presence in America, which could help the deal further, given how much help Christian Pulisic has been for the club.

Furthermore, the deal for the American ‘would not exclude’ deals for Marcus Rashford or Kyle Walker as he only earns around €3 million per season. For this reason, it ticks several boxes, both financially and tactically for Milan and valued at €15m it could be a deal that the Rossoneri are considering heavily.
