Milan coach Sergio Conceição confirmed Christian Pulisic won’t be taking part in his side’s clash at Juventus on Saturday as the USMNT star would risk ‘worsening his condition’ by playing against the Old Lady.
The offensive winger was forced off during the Rossoneri’s trip at Como midweek, as he was seen clutching his left thigh before leaving the pitch in the closing stages of the first half.

While subsequent medical tests ruled out any serious injury, the Portuguese boss did not want to be evasive about the American’s fitness in his pre-match press conference, admitting the former Chelsea man would be ‘out’ of the Allianz Stadium showdown, as he doesn’t want to ‘take any risks’.
“Pulisic is out,” Conceição told reporters, as quoted by TMW.
“I don’t feel like bluffing. He still feels some discomfort, and I don’t want to take any risks. It’s nothing serious, but if he plays for about twenty minutes, he risks worsening his condition, and I don’t want that.”
The 26-year-old won’t be the only player Milan will have to do without in their head-to-head against the Bianconeri, as striker Alvaro Morata will also miss the meeting with his former club through suspension.

Malick Thiaw will be unavailable, too, after picking up a hamstring injury which is expected to keep him sidelined for the remainder of the month.
