Everton are 16th in the Premier League, only three points above the drop zone.
Journalist Alan Myers shared earlier this week that the Toffees will look to sign at least two players in the January transfer window.
Everton fans hope that the Friedkin Group will complete their takeover before the winter transfer window and pump in some additional funds to help Sean Dyche bring in quality players.
The Toffees need to improve after the international break despite suffering only one defeat in their last seven league games.
They could look to offload a few players to raise funds or send fringe players away on loan in January.
Everton have already decided that they will not allow Jake O’Brien to leave the club in January on loan, but they might be willing to offload one attacker who has failed to impress Dyche.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the Toffees have decided to offload Beto to Torino in the January window.
The Toffees paid £25.75 million in 2023 to sign the Portuguese striker from Udinese, but Dyche has not properly used him.
Torino are looking to sign a striker following the injury to Duvan Zapata. AC Milan’s Luka Jovic and Napoli’s Giovanni Simeone are also being considered.
The striker has struggled for game time under Dyche, and his value has dropped to £16.7 million.
He has yet to make a start in the Premier League and has netted just one goal from seven substitute appearances.
Beto could fancy a move to Torino, even on loan, as he is likely to get regular games at the Serie A club.
He has done really well from the bench, but Dyche probably does not think he deserves a chance to start.
The Toffees boss has kept huge faith in Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has struggled badly in front of the goal.
It makes plenty of sense to drop him now and give Beto a proper run in the team to see if he really can make a difference.
However, Beto is likely to drop further down the pecking order after Armando Broja has finally returned to training.
A move away from Everton in January could help Beto resurrect his career and would suit all parties.
