Antonio Cassano slammed Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi following a heartbreaking 1-1 draw against Napoli last weekend.
Speaking to Viva el Futbol via FCInter1908, Cassano voiced his concerns over Inzaghi’s tactical rigidness.
Federico Dimarco fired Inter in front midway through the first half with a stunning free kick.
However, Philip Billing broke Nerazzurri’s hearts in the 87th minute as he drew Napoli level.
It was nothing less than Antonio Conte’s side deserved after demolishing Inzaghi’s charges in the second half.
Indeed, Inter failed to attempt a single shot after the break, delivering an awful performance.
Whether it was a tactical choice or fatigue, the reigning Serie A champions looked bleak in Naples.
Dimarco’s free kick was Inter’s only shot on target, summarizing their underwhelming showing.
Part of the blame goes to a severe injury crisis at Giuseppe Meazza, with several first-team stars on the sidelines.
“I didn’t see a hard-fought match,” Cassano stated. “I saw a game where one team tried from start to finish to win – Napoli.
“Meanwhile, Inter almost won without taking a single shot on goal, relying only on a brilliant play by Dimarco.

“Napoli did everything to win the game, even against adversity and injuries.
“Meanwhile, Inter, though the strongest of all, nearly won without shooting. Napoli deserved to win.”
Then, he took a swing at Simone Inzaghi.
“Inzaghi made a mess when Dimarco got injured,” Cassano added. “First, he put Dumfries on the left, then Bastoni as a wingback. And then Mkhitaryan – absolute chaos.
“So, I become even more convinced that he doesn’t know how to do anything other than the 3-5-2.
“Inter left a negative impression on me, even though they are the strongest despite their absences.
“As of today, with the squad they have, they should be 10 points ahead.
“They even struggled against Genoa. Now, in the coming weeks, they will face some brutal matches. If this is how they play, watch out.
“Inter remains the strongest, but beware because now Conte will squeeze the hell out of his players and drag them along with him.
“Inter’s difficulties? A friend of mine told me that you only move forward with hard work; otherwise…
“The other night, in the end, it turned into a disaster.”
