There is never a quiet day at FC Barcelona, and it has become a rather frustrating reality for the club. Even right now, despite taking a lot of measures to improve their financial stability, the Catalan club remains riddled with problems. However, the primary objective for Barcelona is to get rid of their most immediate issues first.
Currently, such an issue would be the registration problem concerning both Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. With both Spaniards having been unregistered by La Liga at this point, Barcelona are looking to find an immediate solution to the issue despite the hurdles in front of them.
Fortunately for Barcelona, however, recent reports had previously claimed that the club was looking to finalize the steps they needed to complete in order to return to the coveted 1:1 rule again.
This particular rule would then allow the club to operate with more freedom in the transfer window, and possibly find more leverage in registering the two Spaniards as well.
Now, as highlighted by SPORT, the confirmation from La Liga has reportedly arrived as well. Barcelona are now finally back to the 1:1 rule and can operate with more financial freedom in the January transfer window. However, there are still some complications in regards to the registrations of the two players.
While La Liga has accepted the proof of revenue that Barcelona submitted in light of the recent sale of VIP seats, there is still more work to do.
In the case of the two unregistered summer signings, La Liga reportedly believes that Barcelona meets the economic requirements for this particular matter but the legal side of things still needs to be addressed.
It is expected that a proper answer could now arrive in the next few hours or possibly even days. Given the kind of nuances involved and there being no precedent to this matter, it becomes a rather complicated issue for La Liga and RFEF to give a final verdict on.
