FC Twente set to sign USMNT winger Taylor Booth from Utrecht in €2m deal | OneFootball

According to ESPN, Utrecht forward Taylor Booth is on the verge of completing a permanent move to FC Twente. The 23-year-old United States international has already agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal and all that’s left to be finalised is an agreement between the two clubs. Twente have offered over €2m for the winger, which is set to be accepted.

Taylor Booth has dropped down the pecking order at FC Utrecht this season. He’s played just nine times in the Eredivisie so far this campaign under head coach Ron Jans and is yet to score a goal. Last season he netted five times in 17 appearances.

Now, he’s on the verge of a permanent move to Enschede. FC Twente currently sit sixth in the Eredivisie table and have struggled to stay consistent in this year’s competition. Manager Joseph Oosting will hope the signing of Taylor Booth will provide more goals to his side, who have won just one of their last five league games.
