Manchester United clashed heads with Tottenham Hotspur at the San Mames Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a win in the UEFA Europa League final. The Red Devils made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 42nd minute when Brennan Johnson got his name on the scoresheet. Ruben Amorim’s men were trailing 1-0 at the half-time interval.
Man United tried their best to find the equaliser but crashed to a disappointing 1-0 loss at the San Mames.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player performed during the clash against Spurs.
GK: Andre Onana – 6/10
Onana didn’t have much to do in the game but failed to keep a clean sheet.
CB: Leny Yoro – 7/10
He cleared the danger when he could and was good on the ball.
CB: Harry Maguire – 6.5/10
Maguire made a lot of important clearances inside his half but failed to secure a clean sheet.
CB: Luke Shaw – 6.5/10
He did his fair share of defending but it was not enough tonight.

RM: Noussair Mazraoui – 7.5/10
He came back to defend when needed and was lively in the Tottenham half.
CM: Casemiro – 6.5/10
Casemiro anchored the midfield well and made two inviting chances in the final third.
CM: Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10
He worked hard on both ends of the field but there was no goal for him.
LM: Patrick Dorgu – 6.5/10
Dorgu did his fair share of defending but offered very little going forward.
RAM: Amad Diallo – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times in the final third but lacked the cutting edge in the opponent’s half.
LAM: Mason Mount – 6/10
Mount made one positive run with the ball but never looked like he would score.
ST: Rasmus Hojlund – 6/10
He caused some problems for the Tottenham defenders but failed to register a goal.
