Fonseca hasn’t rotated much since Milan beat Inter on September 22 but is expected to make some changes to the Rossoneri XI when their Serie A campaign resumes at San Siro against Udinese on October 19.

Theo Hernandez has received a two-game ban and according to Gazzetta, Terracciano is the favourite to start as a left-back against the Bianconeri next week.

Davide Bartesaghi and Alex Jimenez are two other options for the left-back role, but Terracciano is currently the favourite, having already started in place of Theo in an away game at Lazio in August.

According to Gazzetta, Pavlovic will likely return to the central defence after spending the last three games on the bench. He will replace Matteo Gabbia or, more likely, Fikayo Tomori, who infuriated Fonseca on Sunday night by giving the ball to Tammy Abraham to take the second penalty in Florence.

Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze are other possible Milan starters against Udinese when Serie A resumes next week.

According to Gazzetta, the Swiss international has more chances to get the nod in attack and partner with Alvaro Morata, pushing Tammy Abraham to the bench.
