Galatasaray prepare first offer to Rennes for Amine Gouiri | OneFootball

Stade Rennais broke their transfer record to sign Amine Gouiri (24) from OGC Nice for €28 million in 2022. However, the inconsistent attacker has very rarely lived up to the steep price tag set by Les Rouges et Noirs.

As was reported yesterday, Galatasaray have shown an interest in the Algerian international as they look to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season. While Foot Mercato have now reported that Rennes are likely to receive their first offer from the Turkish club in the coming hours.

Galatasaray offer less than half of what Rennes spent on Amine Gouiri

It is expected to be an offer of €13 million, less than half of what Rennes spent bringing Gouiri to the club. It is unlikely that this offer will be accepted by Rennes with the club reported to be reluctant to sell their number 10, while Foot Mercato writes that in the event of a departure, the player is not prioritising a move to the Turkish league.
