Although we have entered the international break, the bad news at AC Milan doesn’t automatically stop, and today, it has been revealed that there are two injuries to key players at the club.

Injuries are a commodity in football, but in the past 18 months – if not longer – Milan have had a laughable record. Throughout last season, the problems derailed the season, and there are already questions about Paulo Fonseca’s ability to navigate injuries.

There have been doubts about the amount of depth in the squad, the quality of the depth, and above all, the impact the depth can have, given Fonseca has already ruled out certain players effectively – Luka Jovic, for example, is not suitable of playing the Morata role.

A player who is capable of attempting to play that role is Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan) reports that he is struggling with an injury in his left flexor, and it is an ‘element of concern’ for the Rossoneri’s medical staff.

Elsewhere, Davide Calabria – who could meet with prosecutors regarding the Curva Sud case shortly – is still struggling with the training injury. He has an issue with the soleus muscle in his left calf, and he should not be present against Udinese.
