AC Milan’s game against Juventus on Saturday night will be a sell-out, and it will continue the trend of fans packing out San Siro every home game.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanPress) points out this morning, Saturday night will be a big party at San Siro, at least until the result is decided. For a game like Milan-Juventus it is obligatory to talk about what happens on the pitch, but the club can already celebrate the enthusiasm of the fans.
The attendance number reached in November by the Rossoneri fans is remarkable: we are already at half a million spectators to have passed through the turnstiles combined over the eight games that have been played.
As of today, the number is precisely 476,314 fans. The sell-out on November 23 will bring the total to a whopping 550,000 roughly. Despite the ups and downs of the season and the protests there have been, the fans are still inspired by games like the derby against Inter and beating Real Madrid.
The Milan tifosi are still there an they want to remain close to the team. The highest box office revenues so far this season have been for the Napoli game, but for Juve the all-time club record could well be broken.
