Gourna-Douath’s extended stay still possible | OneFootball

Lucas Gourna-Douath could end up staying at Roma beyond the expiry of his current loan.

The French midfielder moved to the Italian capital in January on a loan move from Salzburg.

The loan includes an option for 19.5 million euros which Roma are currently hesitant to advance Salzburg’s way.

However, Corriere dello Sport writes that the player seems to have convinced Roma to try and open talks with the Austrian side for the extension of Gourna-Douath’s loan.

This would allow the requested pricetag to drop significantly.
