Hansi Flick hands 7 Barcelona stars the rest of the week off | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has afforded a whole host of his players the remainder of the week off from training.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

The vast majority of the first-team regulars at Barcelona have of course this week departed, to link up with their respective countries for international duty.

For a select group, though, not injured and not called up by their nations, they have remained behind.

And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, such players were afforded some altogether welcome news on the part of boss Hansi Flick.

As revealed by Mundo Deportivo, today’s was the last Blaugrana training session of the week.

This means that all of Wojciech Szczęsny, Iñaki Peña, Eric García, Ansu Fati, Alejandro Balde, Gavi, and Pau Víctor will not be required to return to The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper until next Monday.
