At the very least, the Barcelona coach is looking to hand the young winger his first team debut. Already impressed with his versatile and dynamism, there have been reports in the past that have suggested that Hansi Flick wants to promote the youngster to the first team as well at some point.

Impactful even with limited minutes

Despite his limited minutes (382) this season due to injuries, the Barcelona talent has managed to put out respectable numbers. Having scored three goals and having provided several assists, Dani Rodriguez has undeniably showcased his ability to make a difference even with limited minutes.

That is what he will be hoping to manage against Real Sociedad if he does end up getting a few minutes off the bench. However, he is not the only youth player to be included in the official squad list for this game, as the likes of both Landry Farre and Noah Darvich have been added as well.
