Hansi Flick provides update on Ansu Fati’s Barcelona situation | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Saturday provided a fresh insight into the situation of Ansu Fati in his squad.

Wide-man Ansu has of course endured something of a season to forget to date.

Afforded a fresh chance to prove his talents back in Barcelona’s colours following an unsuccessful loan stint in England, the 22-year-old has struggled badly in efforts towards as much.

All told, in fact, Ansu has been afforded a grand total of less than 200 minutes on the pitch.

Such woes have given rise to mounting reports of dissatisfaction on the part of the attacker, whose career increasingly appears to be getting away from him.

Speaking to the media in his latest pre-match press conference on Saturday, it therefore came as little surprise when Ansu’s name was put to manager Hansi Flick once more.

And Barcelona’s headmaster continued to keep his cards close to his chest in his response, albeit whilst affording a glimmer of hope to the player:

“We’ll see if Ansu can get playing time. If we need him, we’ll do it.”
