Hansi Flick reveals details of personal letter from Barcelona president Joan Laporta | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has revealed that he was recently the recipient of a personally written letter on the part of club president Joan Laporta.

This, of course, comes fresh off Barcelona securing their third title of the campaign.

Owing to a 2-0 victory over city rivals Espanyol last week, the Blaugrana ensured their status as Spanish champions for 2024/25.

Added to previous triumphs in both the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup, Hansi Flick, in turn, can celebrate a hugely successful debut season on the Barca bench.

And one individual on whom the significance of such success was not at all lost is the aforementioned Joan Laporta.

Speaking to the media on the back of his side’s meeting with Villarreal on Sunday, Flick revealed that club president Laporta sent him a written letter following the Blaugrana’s La Liga title being mathematically confirmed:

“President Laporta wrote a letter for me. He said it’s not just about winning, it’s about how we won.”
