Hansi Flick speaks out on Raphinha’s post-Barcelona vs Real Betis outburst | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has spoken out on the head-turning post-match rant embarked on by Raphinha on Saturday night.

Barcelona were of course back in action yesterday evening, when they welcomed Real Betis to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana were forced to settle for a disappointing share of the spoils, wasting an opportunity to climb a full six points clear atop Spain’s top-flight.

And one member of the Catalans’ ranks who could not hide his frustrations on the back of the full-time whistle was the aforementioned Raphinha.

The Brazilian international was spotted furiously remonstrating with the team of officials post-match at Montjuïc, before going as far as to push teammate Marc-André ter Stegen.

Speaking to the media in his ensuing press conference, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Raphinha’s anger was put to boss Hansi Flick.

And Barcelona’s headmaster made use of the opportunity to play the situation down, assuring:

“There was nothing with the referees. He was yelling at me!”
