Manchester United will travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday.

On the latest episode of the Stick To Football, Ian Wright backed Rasmus Hojlund to score two goals against the Hammers.

He also echoed Roy Keane’s prediction of a 2-1 victory for the Red Devils.

The former Arsenal star said: “I love the way Hojlund finished that chance [against Brentford]. He’s in the mode. I can see him getting two goals here.”

Rasmus Hojlund must start against West Ham

United signed Hojlund from Atalanta for £72 million in 2023. The Red Devils knew they were buying potential rather than proven quality.

The 21-year-old took 14 games to score his first Premier League goal in his debut season.

He opened his account against Aston Villa and went on to score nine more league goals.

The Danish hitman’s start to the 2024/25 season has been delayed due to an injury. He has bagged two goals in three starts for United this term.

He came close to putting United ahead against Fenerbahce but failed to add the necessary power behind his drilled shot.

Hojlund’s performances have shown that he could become a superstar, but maintaining his fitness will be crucial to his development.

He produced an impressive display in the 2-1 victory over Brentford.

His ice-cool dinked finish over goalkeeper Mark Flekken proved to be the difference between the two sides.

He initially struggled against centre-back Nathan Collins but used his flicks and quick turns to beat the defender.

The striker should have also earned an assist, but Christian Eriksen blazed his shot wide.

Many people expected Hojlund to start against Fenerbahce, but Erik ten Hag picked Joshua Zirkzee.

The Dutch international had an abysmal outing, making a strong case for Hojlund to reclaim his spot in the starting XI this Sunday.
