Although the 3-3 draw with Inter Milan in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final tie was not exactly the best result for FC Barcelona, the fans would still be remembering some aspects of this game for a long time.
One of the most memorable aspects of this game was clearly the performance of the young winger Lamine Yamal, who put on a shift for the ages.
He scored a beautiful goal that pushed the team to fight back after going 0-2 down, and his overall performance was filled with many spectacular moves.
This latest performance has once again opened the floodgates to massive praise, with people and publications from throughout the world speaking highly of the La Masia graduate.
The latest individual to praise the €180 million-rated Barcelona star was the Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka, who can face Lamine Yamal in the UEFA Champions League final if the two sides advance from the semi-final round.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sport, the English international was full of praise for the Spaniard when the interviewer highlighted the Blaugrana star’s role in such a big team:
“He is top man. Honestly, doing what he is doing at his age, you know [sighs] what you can say, man. He is unreal.”

The interviewer highlighted that Yamal is still only 17 years old, to which Saka responded:
“It’s not normal. No one does it. I don’t think I have seen that level from a 17-year-old, so credit to him.”
Bukayo Saka himself has made a name for himself in football for his top-level performances at quite a young age. However, Yamal has reached even higher heights at an even younger age. Still, it would be quite an entertaining matchup if the two stars could face off against one another in a possible UCL final.
