Leeds United's march back to the Premier League promised land seems to be on track during the 2024-24 Championship season under Daniel Farke. And one stat may have boosted their chances further.
Back in the 2019-20 season under former beloved boss Marcelo Bielsa, the Argentine guided the club back to the top flight of English football for the first time since their heartbreaking relegation in 2003-04.
The hype and the fanfare was ultimately documented thanks to Amazon's "Take Me Home" series surrounding the club. And Farke is on course to better that campaign.
At the time of writing, the German tactician sees his troops at the top of the table on 60 points, better than Bielsa's 55 at the same mile marker.
Leeds may not enjoy a massive points buffer, as both Sheffield United (58) and Burnley (57) remain on their heels, but with just three losses this season, Farke could be in line to better a man who once held the Yorkshire club at his fingertips.
