Arsenal host Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday night with Mikel Arteta receiving a double injury boost.
Both Ben White and Mikel Merino trained on Monday after missing Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday. However, Arteta will be without Thomas Partey after the Ghanian picked up a yellow card against Real Madrid, suspending him for the first leg against PSG.
Should Merino be passed fit to play, that should see the Spaniard drop into midfield alongside Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard with Leonardo Trossard starting in attack with Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Sako starting out wide.
Defensively, Arteta is expected to name the same back four that started in the 2-1 win against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
David Raya – Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Jakub Kiwior, Martin Lewis-Skelly – Declan Rice, Mikel Merino, Martin Ødegaard – Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Leonardo Trossard
