This comes owing to the youngster’s dribbling statistics across the season to date.

Wide-man Lamine is of course in the midst of what has been nothing short of a spectacular campaign to date.

From his berth on the right of Barcelona’s frontline, the 17-year-old has dazzled on his way to a remarkable 18 goals and 25 assists across all competitions.

And yet, it is Lamine’s dribbling which, in the eyes of many, remains his standout trait.

The Spanish international has long been terrorising backlines across Spain and beyond with his combination of touch, exceptionally quick feet, and sudden bursts of pace.

As much has seen Lamine rack up a whopping tally of 239 successful dribbles in all competitions in 2024/25.

As revealed by Diario Sport, citing statisticians Opta, this is the same number as Neymar Jr. managed in his most prolific dribbling season in Barca’s colours.

Manage just one more completed dribble this weekend against Athletic Club, and Lamine will therefore overtake his idol’s best tally.
