THREE INSIDE STORIES: EXCL: Chelsea consider Jonathan David move, Sources: Blues ‘still there’ for Victor Osimhen, Sources: Maresca makes feelings clear to the board!

One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.

Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.

Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.

Transfer window opens soon

Chelsea will be getting ready for the transfer market to open up next month and they will certainly be one of the busier clubs I feel.

A new left back could be on the agenda with only Marc Cucurella as the recognised left back and the future of Renato Veiga, on loan at Juventus, staying unclear at the moment.

Feyenoord’s Quilindschy Hartman is back on Chelsea’s transfer agenda, according to a report from the Dutch press.

In February, the 23-year-old stated Chelsea wanted to sign him before he picked up a knee injury.

Voetbal Primeur now states that Chelsea are still looking at him for the summer window.

Feyenoord technical director Dennis te Kloese has spoken out. He discussed the Netherlands international’s future and Voetbal Primeur have relayed his comments.

The Feyenoord official believes there should be more clarity on his future in the next few weeks.

“We will see in the coming weeks. It is a major consideration for him, also with a view to where he can still grow,” he said.

“The national coach is at the table here and there is a World Cup next year. Then that consideration must also be whether now is a good time to take the next step. He will have to talk to his people about that himself. Of course, we are always in talks.”

When asked about the Chelsea links, the director stated they haven’t approached his side so far.

“No, because if they have contacted him, they have not yet contacted us. Last year that was of course a story that was discussed. Ultimately that changed with that injury,” Te Kloese explained.

He has urged Harman to first make a decision on where he wants to play next season.

“He is an incredibly valued force with us and as a person I also value him very much. But he has to reach a certain level to take that next step and then possibly play himself into the spotlight with Oranje again. Is now the time? He will have to consider that himself,” he added.
