Injury updates provided on two Real Madrid stars after Real Sociedad | OneFootball

Updates on the wellbeing of a pair of two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday come to the fore.

This comes amid concern surrounding the wellbeing of both Brahim Díaz, and Federico Valverde.

In the case of the former, attacker Brahim was forced into a premature departure from Real Madrid’s season finale against Real Sociedad on Saturday.

This came owing to what appeared to be a muscular concern.

As confirmed by Blancos insider Arancha Rodríguez of COPE, though, ahead of the fast-approaching Club World Cup:

‘Brahim’s problem was just a scare. He has no injury.’

Shifting focus towards Fede Valverde, Real Madrid announced earlier today that the midfielder is dealing with a case of lumbosciatica.

Like Brahim, though, Valverde is not facing up to any kind of extended spell on the sidelines:

‘Valverde has lumbosciatica. He’ll be out for about a week. Available for Xabi Alonso for the Club World Cup.’
