Chelsea are liking the progress of academy star Ryan Kavuma-McQueen according to reports, with the club’s academy famed for producing top players.
The Blues currently have academy graduates Reece James and Levi Colwill as key parts of the first team, whilst Tyrique George and Josh Acheampong have impressed and are now part of the first team squad.
Enzo Maresca hasn’t been afraid to hand youngsters opportunities in the first team, especially in the Conference League and 17-year-old Shim Mheuka made his first Chelsea start against Copenhagen last week.
Chelsea are constantly looking for the best young talent from around the world, with the club’s recruitment model very much changing under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.
The Blues have signed a number of talented youngsters, especially from South America, and sometimes it feels they overlook the academy.

Mail Sport have reported the club are liking the progress of 16-year-old Kavuma-McQueen who has already featured for both the under-18’s and under-21’s this season.
The teenager scored the winner for the under-21’s against Ipswich last week and he’s also an England under-16 international.
Kavuma-McQueen is a left winger who can also play on the right, and he’s got six goals and three assists in 12 appearances in the under-18’s Premier League, whilst he’s got two assists and a goal in two Premier League 2 appearances.

The schoolboy is clearly a big talent, but at that age there’s still so much development to be done, although he couldn’t be at a better place to develop and learn his craft.
Kavuma-McQueen looks like he will be a name to keep an eye on in the future and is certainly one of the stand out names in the academy, but right now it’s important not to put to much pressure on him and just let him play his game.
