Earlier this week, Luka Modric announced that he will be leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season after the club decided against renewing his contract.
The 39-year-old midfield icon will bring an end to an illustrious career at the Santiago Bernabeu, which saw him become the most decorated player in the history of the club.
While Modric still hoped to continue at Real Madrid for another season, the Merengues felt the time was right for them to usher in a new era, leading to the decision of not extending his contract.
Now, set to become a free agent soon, Modric has a plethora of offers to choose from with interest flooding in from Saudi Arabia and the USA.
One of the clubs showing a strong interest in signing Modric, according to Mundo Deportivo, are MLS outfit Inter Miami.

Talks of a potential move to the David Beckham-owned franchise have been doing the rounds since. At one point, it was even claimed that former Barcelona captain Lionel Messi had personally requested his signing.
With Modric’s Real Madrid contract ending in a few weeks, speculation about a move to Miami has intensified in recent days.
The proposed deal would see Modric join Inter Miami on a one-year contract, lasting until July 2026, aligning with his aim to lead Croatia at the World Cup. The deal would be worth around $2.5 million per year.
It will now be interesting to see whether Modric does end up moving to the USA, opts to continue in Europe, or decides to take up a new challenge in the Middle East.
