It's exactly seven years since Liverpool nailed their colours to the mast as a genuine contender for the Champions League.

In Jürgen Klopp's second full season as Reds boss they stuttered slightly in the group stage before facing Portuguese giants Porto in the last 16.

And with that classic front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané, the Premier League side thrashed their hosts 5-0 in one of the club's most resounding European wins.

Mané grabbed a hat-trick that night with the Anfield outfit now firmly back amongst the continent's giants.

They would go on to lose to Real Madrid in that year's final before finally lifting the trophy the following year.

Let's just try and ignore that hideous orange kit, shall we?
