Galatasaray are keen to sign Chelsea forward Joao Felix on loan next season.
Felix is currently on loan at AC Milan after an underwhelming return to Chelsea last summer. The Blues re-signed their former loanee from Atletico Madrid for a fee in the region of £45m, but Felix was unable to force his way into Enzo Maresca’s plans.
The Portugal international started just three times in the Premier League before moving to Milan in the January transfer window. He’s been unable to find his form with the Rossoneri, failing to score or assist in seven Serie A appearances.
He was harshly criticised following a 2-1 defeat against Torino last month, with television commentator Fabio Ravezzani slamming the 25-year-old. On his X account, Ravezzani stated: “The board made a mistake. Everything is going wrong at Milan. João Félix is as handsome as he is useless.”
Galatasaray are now prepared to offer Felix a route out of Chelsea. The Turkish champions have used the loan market to make some statement signings in recent windows, bringing Victor Osimhen and Alvaro Morata to Istanbul this season.
Turkish outlet Sporx are now reporting that Felix is the next target for Okan Buruk’s side, who are currently nine points clear of Fenerbahce in Süper Lig title race.
The player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has confirmed the interest from Istanbul.
