Juventus book Kelly flights as final details sorted in Newcastle deal | OneFootball

Lloyd Kelly is expected to arrive in Turin on Sunday evening ahead of his move to Juventus from Newcastle United after the final details of his transfer were completed in the afternoon.

The Bianconeri are expected to announce the singing of the Englishman before the close of the January transfer window on Monday night. He will join on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy set at €18m plus bonuses.

Though an agreement on the fee had been reached on Saturday night, there were still a handful of minor details that needed to be hashed out before the player set off for Italy.

According to reports from several outlets, Juventus sorted those details out during a phone call on Sunday morning, and now Kelly is expected to begin his journey over to Turin for his medicals.

The former Bournemouth defender is set to become Juve’s fourth addition of the January transfer window, following the earlier arrivals of Renato Veiga from Chelsea, Randal Kolo Muani from PSG and Alberto Costa from Vitoria Guimaraes.
