Lazio accelerating talks for Empoli’s Jacopo Fazzini | OneFootball

Serie A side Lazio are now making progress in their move for Empoli midfielder Jacopo Fazzini and are in talks for the player.

The 21-year-old has been linked with the Biancocelesti for many weeks now and Il Messaggero, as relayed by LaLazioSiamoNoi, have reported that in the last few days, telephonic conversations between Empoli and Lazio CEO Claudio Lotito have intensified.

Lazio currently have a limited budget with themselves and that is why they could include a midfielder in their move. Empoli have also opened up to the sale of the player and the feeling is that the deal can close for an initial two-year loan deal with the obligation to buy for €15 million.

Lazio have tried to include Toma Basic or Elseid Hysaj in the move as they have big salaries but the attempt has not materialised, as talks are on between the two clubs.
