LeBron James is set to write more NBA history with the LA Lakers in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Being the all-time great that LeBron is, it's hard to believe that there are any records left for him to break in the NBA at all.
He will go down as one of the best players to have ever played the game and continues to perform to high standards despite being a veteran now at 39 years old.
And while his age is definitely not showing up on the court just yet, off it there are definite signs that LeBron isn't getting any younger.
Especially, as he looks to write history by doing what Liverpool, the club he holds a minority stake in, have become famous for doing last season.
Last season, Liverpool became renowned for giving senior debuts to the sons of some iconic names in the Premier League.
This saw the likes of Bobby Clark, son of former Newcastle United midfielder Lee, Lewis Koumas, son of Wigan Athletic star Jason and Jayden Danns, son of Crystal Palace attacker Neil, make their bow in professional football.
At academy level, there are more examples of famous sons catching the eye for the club at the moment. Maynor Figueroa's son, Keylor, plays for the club's U21 side and is highly rated.
Meanwhile, stretching the familial ties even further, Owen Beck, who is currently on loan at Blackburn Rovers, is the great nephew of Liverpool's legendary goal-scorer Ian Rush.
Now though, it's LeBron's turn to write his family legacy in the NBA after his son, Bronny James, was drafted by the LA Lakers in the 2024 NBA draft.
Bronny is expected to be a part of the Lakers' roster during the 2024/25 campaign as a rookie and will write history by becoming the first father and son duo to play together in the NBA.
It remains to be seen how Bronny performs with the weight of expectations from his father's name on his shoulder. But if he can follow the same path as the likes of Clark, Koumas and Danns at Liverpool, he will be just fine.
