According to multiple reports, Leicester City might have to create further funds in order to buy some players on deadline day. Disappointingly, the Foxes have only made one signing this January with relegation staring them in the face. When members of the Blue Army learn that the reason for this might perhaps be due to how badly the King Power club has been run for years, it'll sicken them somewhat.
LCFC's seeming failure to repeatedly adhere to Profit and Sustainability parameters has dented progress. Essentially they can't sign any decent footballers right now. If the Leicestershire team are in fact relegated through their own incompetence, it'll be as deserving as it is nightmarish. As a Fox, it always pains me to point out the negatives swirling around the contemporary outfit.
The current transfer window actually doesn't close until Monday, February 3. Yet City have once again pushed their luck. I don't have to remind Leicester supporters of the Adrien Silva fourteen-second fiasco some years ago. Why can't the modern incarnation of the east Midlands side just get it together? Maybe it really is time for director of football Jon Rudkin to step down.
But I'm getting off topic. LCFC have supposedly put a senior player up for sale. Consequently, King Power may be able to acquire a new recruit or two. Yet this all feels too late with February dawning.
I'm gonna tell it how it is. I had fairly high hopes for Daka. But it hasn't worked out for him on Filbert Way for a few reasons.
