Liam Rosenior set to extend Strasbourg contract amid Premier League interest | OneFootball

According to a report from The Athletic, Liam Rosenior has extended his contract as head coach of RC Strasbourg Alsace until 2028.

The Englishman joined the Ligue 1 side during the summer after being released from Hull City. He arrived as an unknown quantity in France with little fanfare but has quickly cemented his reputation as one of the most exciting managers in the country.

His Strasbourg side are well-positioned to qualify for Europe this season and find themselves in seventh coming into the final four games of the season. It’ll be a clear boon for the project in the East of France if they can keep hold of Rosenior.

The Athletic writes that Rosenior has turned down multiple offers from Premier League clubs in order to continue with Strasbourg.

Djordje Petrovic (25), who is on loan at Le Racing from sister club Chelsea, gave a glowing account of working under Rosenior to local media, telling Alsa Sports, “I love working with him and hopefully, somehow, we can still collaborate in the future. Whether it’s here or elsewhere in five years, I’d like it to be next season.”
