Liverpool are seeking to finish a frustrating week on a high when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday.
Surprise defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup was followed by chaos at Goodison Park as the Reds stumbled to a draw in the Merseyside derby. Dismissals after the full-time whistle against Everton mean that Arne Slot won't be on the touchline this weekend, while Curtis Jones will also sit out.
Liverpool will be aiming for a less frenetic outing on Sunday when they welcome Wolves to Anfield and victory is of paramount importance as they chase a second Premier League title. Matches with Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle United follow and the Reds seem unlikely to pick up maximum points from those three duels.
Here is how Liverpool could line up this weekend.

GK: Alisson - The Brazilian was left helpless at Goodison on Wednesday evening and will want to be retrieving the ball from his net on fewer occasions this weekend. Wolves may struggle to test him too often without forward duo Jorgen Strand Larsen and Hwang Hee-chan.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool's No.66 was not deemed fit enough to feature for the entirety of the Merseyside derby but did earn minutes from the bench after a minor injury. He will be tasked with handling the insanely attacking wing-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.
CB: Ibrahima Konate - Konate has been in imposing form over recent weeks and will want a clean sheet against an injury-stricken Wolves forward line. He scored his first and only Premier League goal during the reverse fixture in September.
CB: Virgil van Dijk - Liverpool's towering skipper was far from his imperious best at Goodison, toiling against the powerful Beto with mixed degrees of success. Despite being in the relegation battle, Wolves have been frequent scorers this term and will keep Van Dijk busy at Anfield.
LB: Kostas Tsimikas - Andy Robertson started the derby and offered up a mediocre display as his powers of influence continue to wane. With Liverpool playing against Aston Villa midweek, Tsimikas may be thrown into the starting XI to offer the Scotsman a rest.
DM: Ryan Gravenberch - Much like his compatriot Van Dijk, Wednesday wasn't his best offering in a Liverpool shirt. He will be kept busy this weekend, too, protecting the back four from the ingenuity of Matheus Cunha.
DM: Alexis Mac Allister - Fresh from his goal and impressive all-round display against the Toffees, Mac Allister will come up against two hard-hitting Brazilians on Sunday. Joao Gomes and Andre - the latter previously linked with Liverpool - are not to be underestimated.
RW: Mohamed Salah - Liverpool's saviour has been performing miracles over recent weeks, scoring six in his last five matches in all competitions. You would be brave to bet against Salah netting his 23rd Premier League goal of the campaign on Sunday.
AM: Dominik Szoboszlai - Slot has grown more reliant on the Hungarian as the months have passed and his creativity and sheer work rate in midfield make him integral. He's scored two in his last four games but Liverpool will still want more consistent contributions from the £60m man.
LW: Luis Diaz - Diaz has found himself in the shadow of Cody Gakpo in recent weeks but his Dutch teammate is doubtful to feature on Sunday after sustaining a knock against Everton. That will allow Liverpool's speedy Colombian to return to his preferred left-wing berth.
ST: Darwin Nunez - With Diogo Jota's minutes being managed carefully following another injury setback, Nunez could be the leading number nine against the Old Gold. He's scored just twice at Anfield this season.
