Liverpool starlet in talks over La Liga switch | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Las Palmas have opened talks over the signing of a member of the midfield ranks at Liverpool.

That’s according to Marca, citing Atlántico Hoy, who point towards Stefan Bajčetić as the player at the centre of the negotiations in question.

Youngster Bajčetić has spent the season to date plying his trade in Austria, with RB Salzburg.

Unhappy with his situation at the Red Bull Arena, however, Liverpool are understood to be ready to cut the Spanish talent’s loan terms short.

This would come with a view to Bajčetić heading elsewhere for the remainder of the campaign.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then such plans could yet culminate in the midfielder landing back in his home country.

As per Marca:

‘Another destination is being sought for Bajčetić where he can continue to get quality minutes. Las Palmas has started talks with Liverpool.’

It now remains to be seen if the brass in Gran Canaria can put the kind of terms which Liverpool are seeking on the table.
