Manchester United announce 20-man travelling squad to face Fenerbahce

Manchester United have confirmed a 20-man squad for the Europa League clash against Fenerbahce on Thursday evening.

The squad has jetted off to Istanbul following their final training session on home soil before the encounter.

United got back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday, with a 2-1 win over Brentford. The Reds were forced to come from behind are concede a controversial opener.

Jonny Evans was one of the standout performers against Brentford, but the Northern Ireland centre-back has been ruled out with a knock for Thursday’s meeting with Fenerbahce.

The following squad has been announced via ManUtd.com: Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Andre Onana, Harry Amass, Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Victor Lindelof, Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui, Habeeb Ogunneye, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Manuel Ugarte, Amad, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford, Ethan Wheatley, Joshua Zirkzee.

United are looking for their first win in the Europa League this season, after drawing their first two fixtures against FC Twente and Porto. Ten Hag’s side threw away a two-goal lead against the Portuguese outfit, which could come back to bite us in the rear end.

Bruno Fernandes misses the encounter against Fenerbahce after receiving two yellow cards against Porto. The captain has dismissed as a result.

Alongside Evans in the treatment room will be Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw.
