In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers. It has been claimed that the Red Devils have set their sights on the English attacker ahead of the summer transfer window.
Rogers has enjoyed a great campaign at the West Midlands club as he has produced a string of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The 22-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times and secured 12 assists in 46 matches for Aston Villa this season in all competitions.
The English playmaker has been a good performer in the final third based on his average of 1.5 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.8 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He has distributed the ball relatively well after making 75% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the English club will run out in the summer of 2030. Thus, it won’t be easy for Man United to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Rogers is an excellent dribbler with the ball and can make a few dangerous runs in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can shoot the ball with venom and accuracy from long range.
The English talent has also got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third. He is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also function as a wide player if asked to do so by his manager.
Rogers would add more goals and creativity to Man United head coach Ruben Amorim’s attacking department. He would even help the Red Devils get back to challenging for a top-four spot in the Premier League next season.
At 22, Rogers has got a bright future ahead of him which makes him a worthy target for the Mancunian outfit to consider in this summer transfer period. He already knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to settle into life at Old Trafford. Therefore, Amorim would be wise to go for someone with Rogers’ quality and skillset this off-season.
