Juventus Women’s First Team defender Sara Gama suffered a partial lesion of the achilles tendon during training on 17 December, and the decision was taken for her to undergo surgery.

The operation was successfully carried out yesterday, 28 December, by Dr. Perticarini at the J|Medical.

The player will begin her rehabilitation process in the coming days with the aim of resuming competitive activity.
